CubiCarnage
The modern office is fraught with danger, highly combustible materials, gas leaks, you name it. Normally employees are smart enough to keep any "accidents" from occurring, but these workers aren't very bright, and could very well take the whole building down with them! CubiCarnage is a wacky simulator of the world's worst job environment. Workers aimlessly start fires, gas leaks erupt at the worst times, and it's your job to cut back on casualties! Put out fires before they consume the office, repair smoldering furniture before it catches fire again, heal injured employees, and tighten loose gas valves before they combust. Minimize the damage to the office, and avoid worker casualties to keep the company running for as long as possible!

This game was created for the 2020 Global Game Jam, and all assets were created by members of this team, or were models from the Unity Asset Store.

- Refined initial concept and design
- Identified a list of key features for development
- Designed the level layout to maximize the impact of the game's mechanics
- Detailed how mechanics interacted with one another
- Assigned player actions to tools to mitigate damage to the office
- Assisted with visual layout of UI elements for ease of player access
Level Design:
- Built the level as a recognizable office, complete with cubicles and a conference room
- Designed overall layout to make the spread of fire interesting and challenging to mitigate
- Populated cubicles and main desk area with decorative objects to make them visually interesting
- Placed gas pipes to facilitate interesting interactions between leaking gas and spreading fire
- Utilized script to remove the space solid objects occupy from workers' pathfinding algorithms
- Enabled loose objects to be pushed around by employees or the player shaking an employee for comedic enjoyment
